IT’LL BE OK
Oh this wine, my friends, equals genuine happiness
Which, perhaps, isn’t mine, and yet it’s seized by my mouth
With deep gratitude like bronzed white bodies
Beneath the clouds
How d’you say: it’ll be ok?
How d’you write: it’ll be ok?
Die, if you need to die
Cry… when laughter runs dry
Oh-oh
Inside the cry, a clanging mistake?
Inside the cry keep dreaming within the mouth
Mouth, cavernous kiss?
Time is a female, while the fable of my life begins
So, I take her in hand, the expense of gluttony to the quelled mind – Oh!
She’s my favorite time!
But there’s no one of mine to share her with…
I share her with myself
I think this is the time
We must make love
Ahun-oh-hm-hm-oooooooooh
Han-hmm-oh-oh
Inside the cry, a clanging mistake?
Inside the cry keep dreaming within the mouth
Mouth, cavernous kiss?
How d’you say: it’ll be ok?
How d’you write: swallow! This will be ok?
Die, if you need to die
Cry… when laughter runs dry — Aaaaaa…
… aaaAH
This wine, my friends, equals genuine happiness
Which, perhaps, isn’t mine,
And yet it’s seized by my mouth
With deep gratitude like bronzed white bodies
Wallowing beneath clouuuuuu-uuu-ds!
Swallow!
This will be ok

// Pays P. has been shaped by a shared desire to feel the music keep up pace with every heartbeat.
From one of our favourite band in the world (a must-see in live as well) <3 Pays P.
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
